Samsung has announced the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), the first Samsung tablet to offer Android 4.0 with TouchWiz UX user interface.
The new tablet from Samsung still carries a 7-inch PLS LCD display with 1024 x 600 pixels. It is a bit thinner (10.5 vs 12mm) and lighter (344 vs 380g) than the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
Samsung decides to scrap the LED flash for this model, leaving only a 3.15-megapixel camera and a front-facing VGA camera. It comes with either 8/16/32 GB internal storage and accepts microSD up to 64GB. It supports the basic connectivity options including HSDPA 21 Mbps, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS (GLONASS supported).
